A mental image of yourself leaves your body and appears nearby.

Astral Projection

Companion Bond

Your Astral Projection is a will of its own. It has 1 Action Slot each Full Round. It gains this Action Slot when you normally gain yours at the beginning of Dormancy.

Same Mind, Two Places

You and your Astral Projection have all the same Sensory Effects. You perceive you and your Astral Projection’s surroundings simultaneously without penalty.

During your Active Phase and while in Dormancy, you may choose yourself or your Astral Projection as the Source Location for the Activation of any Psyche Effect.

Your Astral Projection may appear to activate Physical Actions you know with their Action Slot, but they have no effect on their targets. The Astral Projection gains the Movement from the action they activated.

The Physical Action may cause the target to activate a triggered action if they are not aware of the Astral Projections intangibility.

Once they have experienced a Physical Action from your Astral Projection they become aware of its intangibility and likely won’t waste further Action Slots in reaction to your Astral Projection.

Limited Presence & Movement

Your Astral Projection may not move more than 20 Tiles from you.
Your Astral Projection may not move more than 100 Tiles from your Astral Anchor.
Your Astral Projection may not move more than 5 Tiles from your Living Anchors.
If these spaces overlap, they do not prevent movement between them.

When you are granted Movement by any Action or Effect, your Astral Projection gains the same amount of Movement. It can fly but it can not pass through Solid Materials.

You may activate the Dash Action to move your Astral Projection without moving yourself, when you do so, your Astral Projection may Teleport to any Tile within it’s limited presence or bring it Safe Inside.

The Astral Projection is immune to all Physical and Mystical Actions and Effects. Psyche Effects still apply as normal if their Area of Effects includes your Astral Projection or if your Astral Projection is Visible by the Targeted Effect. These Actions and Effects are applied to you when resolved, not the Astral Projection. Actions and Effects which apply to you and your Astral Projection only affect you once.

Visibility

You may choose for your Astral Projection to be visible or invisible. Living Anchors still see your Astral Projection and you can not make yourself invisible to them. They automatically sense the presence of your Astral Projection if it is within 5 Tiles. Your Astral Projection is not invisible to those who are able to see into the Dreamscape but all other actions and effects which reveal Invisibility do not reveal your Astral Projection.

Your Astral Projection always wears what you are currently wearing by default. The Astral Projection may appear to wear anything you have in your Inventory or which is stored in your Domicile. You may choose for it to not wear any number of specific items you have equipped.

Your Living Anchors can always tell your Astral Projection and you apart. Other observers may only tell the Astral Projection is intangible by coming into contact with it. You may also choose to appear in a way which makes it obvious you’re not present.

Dreamscape

Your Astral Projection is in the Dreamscape and may be physically interacted with by those in the Dreamscape who are at the same location. If the Astral Projection takes damage in the Dreamscape it immediately returns inside of you and you take all damage applied to it.

Safe Inside

Your Astral Projection when Safe Inside does not exist. No Action or Effect may force it out of you unless the effect targets your “Spirit” or “Soul”
