Granted by Species: Sapiens

Surviving the wilds isn’t difficult with a little know how. It is a human tradition and coming of adulthood to learn how to camp and survive in the wilderness with nothing more than a trusty hunting knife.

Routine Practice: 1 or 2 Routine Paths

Getting a proper camp set up takes some time. Setting up the tent, getting a fire started, a little grub or some rations on the pot, making clean water, and the small things are essential for survival in the wilds.

Bushcraft ensures you do the basics right. Starting with a small shelter, rations, and Fresh Water. Enough for yourself. For one day.

Conditional Passive: Campsite Awareness

While you are inside your camp or nearby, your Awareness is doubled for the purposes of Detection and you do not suffer any of the normal penalties from your Awareness State.

Special

Bushcraft allows for you or another character to provide a second Routine Path towards the cost of this effect if they are actively helping during the Routine. This increases the number of shelters, rations, and fresh water gathered for up to 10 characters or units.

Item Requirements

Bushcraft requires a Hunting Knife.
