Fireman’s Lift or a Ranger’s Roll is an effective way to pick up and move an ally.

Fireman’s Lift

Activation

Celerity: 2 Action Slots
Movement: 3 Tiles
Reach: 0 Tiles - You must move into your Subjects Tile.

Effect

You move into your Subject’s Tile, Latch and lift them, then move directly across from your starting point. This ally may be standing or grounded when you pick them up.

Once they have been lifted you may perform any action you may normally take as long as it may be performed with only one hand.

You can not gain Momentum while performing a Fireman’s Lift.

An unwilling Subject gets a Clash against performing the Latch.

If you continue to carry an ally with Fireman’s Lift for an extended period of time, you accumulate 1 Physical Stress every minute.

You may set them down in an adjacent Tile from the end point of this action as part of the action.

Fireman’s Lift can not have a Subject who is XXX-L or bigger.

Set Down Activation

Activation

Triggered Action: Set Down may be activated if any damaging action is activated within 10 Tiles of you. If that action was targeting your latched subject, you become the new target for the action. If the triggering action is an Area of Effect, it may still hit both of you.

Celerity: 2 Action Slots
Movement: Restricted
Reach: 1 Tile

Effect: Set down your Latched Subject safely.

Drop Em’ Activation

Triggered Action: Anytime Trigger

Celerity: 0 Action Slots
Movement: Restricted
Reach: 1 Tile

Effect: You drop your Latched Subject and they take 5% of their Mechanical Load Weight as a Blunt Force Injury Card.
