Emotional Stress Endurance

Most Emotional Stress comes from Emotionally intense effects, including many Spiritual, Divine, and Social Effect Trees. Most Leadership and Companion Actions also take a toll on a Character’s Emotional Stress level.

Spiritual Endurance

Emotional Endurance deals with the exertion of Emotional Energy and the Stress caused by fierce and deeply genuine expressions caused by the emotional drives.

Minimum Emotional Endurance: Emotional Endurance can not be reduced below 0.
Maximum Emotional Endurance: Emotional Endurance can not exceed 17.

Stress Collapse

Activating an Action which reduces your Emotional Endurance to 0 applies [Emotional Shutdown] to you.

[Emotional Shutdown]

While affected by Emotional Shutdown, you are locked out of using any Action which includes any form of Stress as an Activation Requirement.

Emotional Shutdown last until the next Repose or Slumber.
