Antidote

Vast OnumPoison

Root Effect • Routine • Craft

Oh my, there are so many different poisons. While they may each have a specific Antidote to counteract them, this Effect Tree is designed to be a catch all for most poisons. Obviously there are some poisons which having an Antidote Pouch with enough charges won’t cure, but if you’re a healer, an Antidote Pouch is almost mandatory.

Antidote Pouch

Boon: An Antidote Pouch is a Boon, as such it can not be removed from the character. If the item is physically removed in roleplaying sequences, the character may have a stroke of genius with items found in the environment to pull their Antidotal.

Weight: 1 Load

Strapped: An Antidote Pouch is strapped.

It may be a leather pouch, a pocket full of vials, part of another Boon Item, like a First Aid Kit, a belt holster, a specialized looking case, or backpack compartment.

Anything which makes sense, within reason. Mechanically it must be a visible and discernable container.

Routine Craft: 1 Routine Path

Antidotal is required to use Poison Treatment. Antidotal may stack up to 15 times. Antidotal Stacks do not expire while in the Antidote Pouch.

Poison Treatment

Activation

Celerity: 2 Action Slots
Reach: 1 Tile

Note: Poisons have a Potency: X rating. This knowledge is automatically revealed. If a Poison has a Specific Antidote, your Story Guide may inform you prior to taking this action Antidotal will not work.

Effect: Spend Potency: X Antidotal Stacks to remove poison from the Target or yourself.

Inherent Advantage: You may distribute Antidotal Stacks to other players. If you do so, these stacks gain a shelf life of 24 Hours.

They may not be returned to your Antidotal Pouch, and are destroyed at the end of their Shelf Life.

You may distribute Antidotal Stacks during your Routine Time if other characters are nearby and still further top off your Antidotal Pouch for the day.
