When we think of ourselves as business owners we are taking on the responsibility to provide for both our consumers and our employed. A harsh reality of procurement, establishing margins, and defining profit sinks in. Keeping it razor thin keeps the ever watching eyes of the Unions at bay.
The Boons of The Business
No matter what you choose as a The Business, the following benefits are true.
Backroom Hideout: Included in your Business, you have a small apartment on grounds. This Hideout may receive mail or other communications from affiliated Supporting Characters.
Weekly Income: The Business makes enough to keep itself afloat, pay the Supporting Characters who work there, and any rental or ownership tax fees. Once per Session you may make a Profit Withdraw. The total Profit is (v:100 × 5).
The Clerk: While The Business may be of a kind which includes Stockers, Wait Staff, Cooks, etc. The only Supporting Character guaranteed is The Clerk. It is through your truly trustworthy Clerk you get your weekly income and learn about how well the business is doing. They also tend to know your customer base and may offer special bounties and quests to you and your allies when visiting. The Clerk stands as a gatekeeper from those looking for you.
Player Character Employees: If the Player Characters choose to be employees they may also get (v:100 × 2) Credits each session.
Notes
Extended Time Skips of a Month have no impact on income. The character only gets paid once per session.
It is assumed all excess goes to general living expenses and business expenses. This Mechanic functions the same as Faction Provisions.

Requirements
Minimum Level: 1
Unless taken or granted at Level 1, Just Business requires 10,000 Credits of Start Up Capitol.
Reinvestment Points may be used to pay for Branch Effects, Stem Effects, and Crown Effects for the Just Business Effect Tree. Otherwise the Potential and Start Up Capitol must be paid for the upgrades.
Reinvestment Points may be exchanged for 100 Credits.
