Trophy

Deranged Grimoire • The Serial

Root • Physical • Domicile • Passive • Buff

Of course, you are a collector. A collection may be of anything. There are some morbid choices, but let us try to steer away from those things. Our in game collectables are in development. Trophies live in our collection, they are a prize. For something to be a Trophy, it must be earned. If a collection of items has more than 4 items then each Trophy is made up of 25% of the full collection. The items considered Trophies may be exceedingly rare items which are part of a much larger set of collectables. When Trophy is first Unlocked, the character gains 1 special item they consider a Trophy. The other 3 should be earned. At higher levels, all of them should be earned.

Story Guide: While this effect isn’t reduced to collectables or a single kind of collectable, we suggest making earning each Trophy difficult or memorable. This is of course, Within Reason. The buffs from this effect are very strong compared to their up front costs.

Trophies

Each of the Trophies collected for this effect require the Trophy Hunter to keep them in a safe place. A Trophy Case if you will. If the Trophy is not in the designated Trophy Case, they discontinue getting the associated boon. You may acquire additional trophies you’re looking for but until you spend the Potential, you do not have a Trophy Case for them in your Domicile, and can not benefit from the conditional passive which requires them to be safe.

Trophy Case

Some show all their friends, some hide them in the basement. Once a Trophy Case is assigned, your Trophy is Safe, it may only be moved by removing the Trophy and declaring a new space the Trophy Case. This has to be done by the Trophy Hunter, if anyone else moves the trophy, the conditional passive is dismissed.
