Firefly Drones may be used to send short messages on small bits of parchment and paper or small items long distnaces.

Activation

Celerity: 1 Action Slot
Movement: Restricted
Durability: 20 Durability
Range: 1 Kilometer (0.621371 Miles)

Effect: Deliver a letter or item weighing no more than 0.1 Load and no larger than 1 Pocket up to 1 Kilometer.

In general this allows you to send a letter in an envelope which features a wax seal or a small item.

The Firefly is reduced to 0 Durability and disintegrates after delivery.

For the purpose of simplicity, this takes around 10 minutes and is 99% successful.

If for any reason it is not, you know the Firefly didn’t make it immediately and about where the Firefly was when it experienced failure.

If you have a HUD, you can watch the Firefly fly and are able to see what happened in most cases.

If you activate another Drone while Delivery is active and have to sever the connection, Drone Delivery fails.

Developer’s Notes: If you suffer a clueless disconnect including a lack of knowledge about where the failure was or “Failure with 0 reason,” the event is an abuse against the value of this effect.
