Honor the Dead

Vast Onum • Mov-Ai-Onum

Root • Mystical • Conditional Passive • Safeguard

Granted by Origin Core: To-Na-Onum
Granted by Species: Harrowfae

The Great Spirit, Orire is said to reward those who properly honor the dead. This is evident by the way of the Harrowfae and the To-Na-Onum. Honoring the recently deceased grants Vitality to the living who offer them peace at the moment of demise. Knowing their spirit makes their way without hesitation thanks to a momentary acknowledgement is enough.

Conditional Passive Safeguard

When a living being dies by Execution within 10 Tiles of you, remove one Injury Card from your Injury Panel. This effect also removes the Hard Damage from that Injury Card.

Note: This living being must have been able to understand the acknowledgement. The acknowledgement does not need to be audible, but the sentiment must be respectful.

Restrictions: While Honor the Dead is passive and does not have an Activation Celerity, it may only be activated once per Active Phase and once per Dormancy.

You may also choose to not Honor the Dead.

Special [To-Na-Onum Harrowfae]

When a living being dies by Execution withing 10 Tiles of your Lantern of Anima’s Light, you may immediately expend 1 Spirit to remove two Injury Cards from your Injury Panel in stead of one. This effect also removes the Hard Damage from those Injury Cards.
