Do you smell alluring? Powerful? Do you smell like nothing at all?

Passive Sense of Smell

You can taste and smell flavors which are usually odorless, including most poisons. You may sense emotional state through the smell of anyone within your Scent Range.

You also gain a +10 to Identify Smells or Flavors. Furthermore you may use your Olfactory alone to determine taste.

Scent Mechanics

Without a more advanced sense of smell, most smells may only be sensed from 2 Tiles away. This gives all characters and units a base Scent Range of 2 Tiles.

With Olfactory your Scent Range is 5 Tiles.

Some effects and certain beasts may have Scent Ranges in the Miles & Kilometers

Mechanical Applications

If you choose, you may use a specific scent to communicate non-verbally. Non-verbal communication in most cases requires pre-assigned meaning. Emotional expressions may be made to those who recognize emotional state scents.
