Kiyomen as a species are the result of the divine mixing of genetics between the Ulmfae and Origin Species. While with natural selection it is possible, but extremely rare, for Ulmfae and Origin to have offspring, the stable and prolific spread of Kiyomen happened ages prior to the intermingling of cultures.
Kiyomen Social Structures & Culture
In spite of their tendency to choose violence, they are as civil as any of the other species. They have few ambitions, and tend to lean on leaders they respect for direction. Usually a clever Mescrit or another trusted ally.
Kiyomen have a passion for woodwork. Most of them work as loggers and practicing responsible and sustainable reforestation. They spend their lives in the woodwork trades. Many of them are Disciples of Saint Chimera Marshals, and they are the most common species to take on Chimerization later in adulthood.
Kiyomen Architecture
The Kiyomen, or Nemoral as they’re often called are forest dwellers. Their style of architecture includes log cabins on the surface and in many cases, prior to having a family, they live in smaller dug out caves with walls made of stems and branches. The inside of which is usually quite beautiful. Larger families will have their homes built deep into the ground, but from the inside you’d never know you were under the ground and surrounded by dirt.
