The Operator

Your Operator goes out and gets things done in your stead. They may stand in for scheduled meetings and serve as the figurehead for your Grand Design. The Operator is your Shadow, and is not a separate character. You Roleplay for all scenes your Operator is involved in. You may choose to use a different voice or personality. This Supporting Character does not have Vital Statistics, Equipment, and serves in no other way than to be in a second place for you for Social Encounters and mechanically support transfers related to Grand Design Routines. While you portray this supporting character, they have the same authority as you when it comes to determining issues for your faction.
Any given faction member with no name may be “The Operator” in place of this shadow supporting character.
Story Guide’s Notes: If an Operator Officer is put into a combat situation, they die. A new operator may be found by The Clerk or the Player. For the purpose of this effect, The Operator and the Player are never in the same place at the same time. If you choose to give the player information via the Operator, do so in a note. The Operator may be made up of many different agents.
Grand Design Routine: These Routines may always be activated during any time you gain Routine Paths, your faction does not cease operating even if you are out of touch.
Shadow of the Grand Design
Grand Design Routine: 1 Routine Path
Your Shadow Operator attends the special meeting set by your Clerk, you meet with your Intel Officer. You meet with your Quartermaster then deliver session supplies to yourself. Nearly any situation which one of your Grand Design Routines may not be completed, you may activate this Routine Path to make it happen.
The Shadow of the Grand Design may also be used to activate the Shopping & Selling Routine.
